        Cindy Lou Price was born in 1957. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Price. By age 17 she was married and her new name was Cindy Lou Rader.   She and her husband Greg lived at 330 E. Lincoln Street in Dayton.    On Friday, January 3rd, 1975 someone followed Cindy Lou Rader as she walked to work. They also might have simply been driving by and saw her. There’s a great deal of impulse control issues with these 1970’s killers.  The Rader home at 330 E. Lincoln. 20 Pulaski street, address of the vacant house.    They abducted her and stabbed her to death in vacant house at 20 Pulaski Street in Dayton, Ohio. She had really only walked around the corner from her home. This seems like a local perpetrator. He saw an opportunity and took it. I did not find any mention of sexual assault but it does seem very likely that was the motivation in this case.     Who could have done this?  ...

    Beverly Jarosz was the sixteen year old daughter of Eleanor and Thaddeus F. Jarosz. Beverly was a student at Marymount High School. The Jarosz family lived in Garfield Heights, a suburb of Cleveland, Ohio.    Beverly and her younger sister Carol had visited their grandmother that morning. Her twelve year old sister stayed at their grandmother’s house but Beverly returned home. She had made plans with a friend.    Her mother said she was cautious and wouldn’t even open the door for the gas meter reader.    Beverly’s friend, Barbara Klonowski, arrived at the house around 1:15 to 1:20. She knocked but got no answer. She could hear a radio playing. She went to another door. She knocked there. She heard a thump. She described the noise as a sort of struggle. Barbara left and went home. She later went to another friend’s house. They were concerned and called other friends looking for Beverly. Eventually, enough people were concerne...

     Catherine Genovese was stabbed to death in New York, in March 1964, while 38 neighbors watched from their windows for 30 minutes and did nothing. The killer saw the people watching and yelling at him and was scared off twice. But he came back twice to stab Ms. Genovese again. Everyone assumed that someone else was calling the police. Everyone assumed someone else would help.    Catherine “Kitty” Genovese is one of the reasons that I write these posts. Never assume someone else is doing something about the problem already. That’s one of the reasons why I jumped into researching and blogging.
