    Lisa Ann Carnes was born on July 20th 1957 to Margaret and General Hill. She had a brother named David.   Lisa graduated from Century High School in 1976.    She married Earnest Carnes and the two had a daughter and a son. They lived in the Stumptown section of Karnak, Illinois.    Karnak is a town in Southern Illinois somewhat near Cairo. Cairo is on I-57 just over the Mississippi River bridge. The Ohio River and Mississippi River converge near Cairo. Karnak is Northeast of Cairo and a short drive north of the Ohio River. It sits between I-57 and I-24.     Southern Illinois is a rural place with a lot of natural beauty.  The Ohio and Mississippi Rivers offer good fishing opportunities and the soil can be very rich for farming along that land near the rivers.     March 29th 1984, Lisa was reported missing around midnight.          Harmony is a little town that is very close to Brazil, Indiana.  If you are driving through the area you might just assume this is still Brazil.  But, Harmony has its own Post Office even though Google Earth immediately sent me to New Harmony in Southern Indiana.     Jennifer Stockrahm was born on March 3rd 1975 to Nelson and Joan Stockrahm. Tragically, Jennifer’s father passed away in 1978. Her Mother, Joan Stockrahm, was then left with three daughters to raise alone.     Jennifer Stockrahm was 21 in 1997. She had been seeing a dangerous man who was almost twice her age in the year before her murder.     He had fled to Arizona, California and Mexico once in the Fall of 1996, after beating her up according to an article in the Banner Graphic Newspaper. It was also reported that Jennifer had informed police of some of his alleged illegal activities.    ...

       Holly Ann Anderson was born on August 25th 1973 to Patricia and Harold Anderson in Danville, Illinois.     In 1992 the family lived in Catlin, Illinois. It’s a little town southwest of Danville.     It seems like Danville would probably be the big town that people in Catlin would go to for groceries, gas and entertainment.     I can find very little about Holly and the events leading up to her murder. I cannot find any news articles of the time about her. She was from a rural area and found in a rural area. Likely there were no nearby newspapers who picked up the story.     In 1992, Holly was 18. In the only photo I can find she looks very cool. Her hairstyle is that big late 80’s/ early 90’s look that we all cultivated. Mine required a perm at least once a year, a blow dryer for drying and styling and lots of Aqua Net hairspray. Holly looks like one of the cool girls. She look...
